Take a Stand To Help Save the Planet

My daughter is taking a semester off from college to get more deeply involved with environmental issues. She was selected to join grass roots organizer training sponsored by Greenpeace and will be spending 3 months in San Francisco learning about issues and how to create effective grass roots environmental campaigns designed to wake people up around these issues.

We all need to do the right thing especially when it's hard. Can you look at yourself in the mirror at the end of the day and say you took direct action towards making the world a better place?
What will YOU do to get world leaders to act on climate change?

I feel hopeful when watching a video like this. Bravo for First Lady Michelle Obama and for Sam Kass for taking a stand for our children's future.

Uplifting Reading

I've been a huge fan of Louise Hay for years. My daughters and I often fall to sleep at night listening to CDs by Louise such as Change your thoughts, change your life or Self-Healing. Her calendars and colorful Power Thought Cards have been a part of my life for over 10 years. Hay House has a number of other inspiring authors such as Denise Linn, Dr. Wayne Dyer and Doreen Virtue. Good food for the spirit!
